Grade 3

Third grade is a transition year from learning basic skills to practicing and applying them.  Now that children have learned to read, they will practice reading to learn.  It is the student’s responsibility to stay organized, listen, to do their personal best when completing assignments and turn in work on time.  There is an increased level of independence that is formed and encouraged on a daily basis through the use of life skills.  These skills are beneficial to each student’s success now and in the years to come.
