Hi! My name is Tammy Lacasse. I have been employed at Pembroke Hill School for the past 10 years. I began working here as a paraprofessional while completing the Granite State College Post Baccalaureate Teacher Certification Program. Since becoming a certified teacher, I have worked as a special education teacher and third grade classroom teacher. Prior to working in education, I earned a BS in Psychology from Keene State College, an MSW from the University of Connecticut School of Social Work and I completed a study abroad at the University of Wollongong in Wollongong, Australia. I am currently enrolled in the Upper Valley Educators Institute Principal Intern Program working toward my certification in administration. I am passionate about education and I love working with students on their educational (including academic, social, emotional and behavioral) journeys!
Outside of school, I enjoy spending time with my husband, two daughters, and our assorted creatures. As a family, we have fostered two pregnant dogs and have whelped a total of 15 puppies. We also have a dog named Henry, who tries to be good but often forgets, and a pair of sugar gliders named Landon and Phyllis.
